New York Photography Awards Reveals Its Profound Photographers and Category Winners of the Year

Concluding 2022 with one of the most significant announcements, the New York Photography Awards, alongside the International Awards Associate (IAA), is proud to celebrate the refined photographical aptitudes of photographers worldwide. The awards program genuinely honors, recognizes, and acknowlegdes exclusive qualities of individuals who traverse the mediums of photography, unveiling their proclivity via illustrations of this vast world.

The awards is pleased to have experienced exponential advancements, marking the majestic portrayals of breathtaking perspectives. Monumentally, more than 50 countries across the globe have presented their stunning submissions, totalling up to more than 3,500 entries in a single season, including United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands, Australia, Japan, Spain, Canada, Austria, and many more.

2022 New York Photographers of the Year

All entries are thoroughly evaluated based on their respective criterias under strict impressions, and with that the surfacing of the best amongst thousands of entries. As such, the 2022 New York Photography Awards unfolds the Professional Photographer of the Year: save by Pete Muller (United Kingdom) and presents a cash prize of $3,000; the Amateur/Student Photographer of the Year: Young Eagle Champion by Peter Voss (Germany) with a cash prize of $2,000.

Taking up the honors of the best image submitted in all separate categories, these photographers have proven their images to uplift benchmarks, setting them apart as the Category Winners of the Year. Those who bear the titles are divided into professionals and amateur/student levels to level the competition, and each winner is rightfully awarded with $100 of cash prizes to celebrate their achievements:

Grand Jury Panel

Gathering only the top professionals from different parts of the world, the grand jury panel has never been more tenacious in strengthening the evaluation process in response to the tremendous efforts imposed by all entrants. Delivering a promising verdict, a few of these prestigious individuals include Marine Foissey (France), Alessandra Minotti (Italy), Nurlan Tahirli (Azerbaijan), Marc Olthoff (Netherlands), Lars Gesing (United States), Ingrid Vekemans (Belgium), Yvon Jolivet (Canada), and other prestigous individuals.

“Our goal remains in sight, to establish ourselves as one of the most sought-after platforms of every photographer to present their masterful images to the public,” claimed Thomas. “With that in mind, any enthusiast with nimble-fingered camera skills will hold an equal chance in the crownage only worthy of the highest recognition.”

With the announcement of the New York Photography Awards, its sister award, the MUSE Photography Awards is now open to accepting entries, further offering a distinguished platform for photographers worldwide who participated or missed out on the New York Photography Awards to gain a distinguished MUSE title for 2023!
